His family can be traced back three generations of visual artisans.

In addition, his great grandfather was an ornamental sculptor.

His decorations can be found on many interiors and exteriors of Historic Philadelphia buildings.

Finally, his other great grandfather was a fabric designer.

Both of his parents are  fine artists.
